Security Role browser for Dynamics CRM 2011 addresses some of the following pain points while configuring, documenting and trying to resolve issues related to security model in Dynamics CRM 2011. Key features of this application are:
• For debugging purpose, Ability to load system users in the CRM application and load a single color encoded view to describe level of access of a user to an entity/set of entities based on his/her security role.
• For debugging purpose, Ability to load teams in the CRM application and load a single color encoded view to describe level of access of a team to an entity/set of entities based on team's security role.
• For documentation purpose, Ability to generate various privileges on an Entity for various security roles in one view.
• For documentation purpose, Ability to generate various privileges on all entities of a single security role.
• For documentation purpose, Ability to export Excel format output and use it for documentation purpose.

How to View User Access to Entity/Set of Entity?

1. Select Option as User

2. Select Appropriate CRM User

3. Leave Security Role selection to All( loads all security role for the user)

4. Pick entity from Entity list for which access is needed.

5. Hit the download clip_image001 button.

How to View Team Access to Entity/Set of Entity?

1. Select Option as Team

2. Select Appropriate CRM Team

3. Leave Security Role selection to All( loads all security role for the team)

4. Pick entity from Entity list for which access is needed.

How to View All Entity access for a Security Role?

1. Select Option as All Entity

2. Select Security Role(Only 1 allowed) from Security Role dropdown.

3. All Entities will be selected by itself

4. Hit the download clip_image001[2] button.

How to View All Security Role access for an Entity?

1. Select Option as All Security Role

2. Select Entity (only 1 allowed) from Entity Drop down.

3. Hit the download clip_image001[3] button.
